Fine-motor toys and sensory tools laid out on a neutral surface.
Who this is for
Children and adolescents aged roughly 4–16, most often referred for sensory regulation, motor coordination, school participation, or self-care goals. I see participants who are NDIS-funded (plan-managed or self-managed) and a small number of privately funded families.
What's included
- Functional play-based assessment with parent/carer interview.
- Sensory processing and regulation strategies - at home, at school, and in community settings.
- Fine motor and handwriting intervention.
- Self-care goals: dressing, sleep routines, mealtimes, toileting.
- School-readiness support across the kindergarten and prep transition.
- Therapy delivered in clinic, at home, or in the child's school.
How it usually runs
1. Initial conversation
A 15-minute call with the parent or coordinator to confirm fit, scope, and whether someone closer to the family might be better placed.
2. Intake and assessment
One or two sessions to understand the child's profile, goals, and the contexts that matter - home, school, community.
3. Goal-setting
A short written plan: what we're working on, why, and what change should look like by the next review.
4. Therapy block
Typically fortnightly sessions over 8–12 weeks, then a review. Frequency adjusts to the child and the goal.
5. Review and report
Written progress summary suitable for plan reviewers or treating team.
Reports
Progress summaries every 6 months by default, or aligned to the participant's plan-review date.
NDIS & funding
I am not currently a registered NDIS provider. I work with plan-managed and self-managed participants and bill at the NDIS Price Guide rate.
