Paediatric & adult occupational therapy · Brisbane northside

Clear-headed OT for children, adolescents, and adults across Brisbane's northside.

I'm Emma. I'm a paediatric and adult occupational therapist working with NDIS-funded and privately funded participants across Chermside, Aspley, Kedron, and the surrounding suburbs. I see participants in clinic, at home, and in their school environment depending on what the goal calls for.

A note on fit

“If your child has been referred for an OT assessment and you're trying to work out whether I'm the right fit, the most useful thing is a 15-minute call. I can tell you what I do well, what I don't take on, and whether there's someone better placed in the area.”

- Emma Walker, OT

In clinic

Quiet rooms in Chermside, set up for paediatric sensory and fine-motor work.

At home

Home visits across the northside - useful when home routines are the goal.

At school

Classroom observation and teacher consultation where it supports an OT goal.

Service area

Brisbane northside

Clinic in Chermside. Home and school visits within roughly 15 km. I travel as far as Albany Creek to the north, Stafford and Everton Park to the west, and Nundah to the south-east.

A note on NDIS

AHPRA registration isn't the same as NDIS registration.

I work with plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants. I'm not currently a registered NDIS provider, which means I don't take agency-managed referrals directly - but my plan-managed and self-managed caseload covers most of the people who'd be looking for me. The page on what NDIS registration actually means walks through this in plain language.
