Accessibility
How this site is built.
An allied-health site's audience often includes participants with motor and sensory needs. Accessibility isn't an add-on - it's built into the template.
What we've built in
- Atkinson Hyperlegible across the site - designed for low-vision readability.
- WCAG 2.2 AA colour contrast across text and interactive elements.
- Visible focus rings on every interactive element. Keyboard navigation across all pages.
- Semantic HTML and skip-to-content landmarks.
- Forms that announce their state to screen readers, with clear labels and inline error association.
- Responsive layouts that work down to 320 px and respect the user's preferred font size and zoom.
If you find something that doesn't work
On a live First Practice customer site, accessibility issues are treated as bugs. Tell us through the contact form and we'll treat it like any other bug - triaged, fixed, deployed.
